Welcome to my RR Picture Archives page. I am a "recorvering journalist" (22 years in television news) and currently serve as public information officer for the Ohio Rail Development Commission. My travels on business around Ohio allow me a chance to see railroads close-up and I always try to bring a camera along just in case.
But my love for railroads and railroading goes back through several generations of family that were involved in railroading in the Northeast and Maritime Canada. Throught them, I gained not just a passion for trains, but a great respect for what railroads have done in this nation..... and what they continue to do.
By no means am I as skilled of a photographer as some of you, but I learned at least the basics of composition and "where to put the sun" from working in TV news. I hope you enjoy what you see and feel free to comment on it.
